Certified Hand Therapy Fellowship Program

We are committed to becoming a leader in Hand Therapy which is why we have created our Certified Hand Therapy Fellowship Program. The fellowship program is designed to train our Occupational Therapists to become Certified Hand Therapists and to enhance our Occupational Therapist’s knowledge and critical decision making, so they can be the best therapist possible. The multifaceted program allows for new Occupational Therapy graduates to perform clinically with the oversight of the certified hand therapists we have on staff.

Student Opportunities

At ARC Physical Therapy+, students gain hands-on clinical experience in a supportive environment focused on learning, mentorship, and professional growth. Our therapists are committed to helping students build confidence in their clinical skills while working with a wide variety of patient cases in an outpatient setting.

As a student with ARC Physical Therapy+, you will benefit from:

Hands-on experience treating patients alongside experienced clinicians

Observation/Shadowing

We proudly host students in the clinic for observation/shadowing hours.

To apply, please:

Fill out the New Student Data Document Sheet linked here.
Review and sign the ARCPT Observation Agreement document linked here.
Email us at student@arcpt.com with:
- The New Student Data Document Sheet completed in full
- The signed ARCPT Observation Agreement
- A photo of your ID
- A copy of your insurance card
- What discipline you want to observe: OT, PT or PTA
- How many hours you would like to observe
- Preferred clinic location(s) (list up to 3 if multiple clinics are nearby) – See the map of our clinics here.

Health insurance is required for observation/shadowing hours.

If you are requesting observation hours at our Manhattan, Kansas clinic, please contact us at student@arcpt.com prior to completing the application, as availability is limited.

Note: It will take 2-4 weeks before you can begin observing.
