Leadership in the Treatment Space

Leadership in the treatment space involves influencing the actions of the entire team. We work together to accomplish goals, set the pace and facilitate innovative collaborative patient care.

Leading Through Collaboration and Respect

As an ARC leader we do not think of ourselves as above others. Rather, we understand the inner workings of the team and recognize everyone’s contribution. We admit when we don’t have all the answers, showing respect and genuine appreciation of our colleagues and patients by asking questions and listening to their perspectives. In turn, we hope the team members and patients reciprocate this trust and respect.

Keeping the Big Picture in Focus

ARC tries to positively influence the leadership and clinic teams; to do this, we must be able to see the big picture and set ambitious goals. By maintaining focus on the vision, we can guide our team to make progress on their patient and business goals even when they are simultaneously pulled in several directions.

Mentorship and Professional Growth

Good leaders are good mentors. Here at ARC, we try to share our knowledge and experience with our staff and act as role models of the organization’s culture.

Along with personally advising our staff, mentors can also make an impact on a therapy student’s professional development. We make the effort to communicate with the mentees, providing support, connecting them with resources, and helping them define their career goals.

Honesty, Integrity, and Trust

ARC attempts to learn the inner values of our staff and act in alignment with them. Honesty with patients means doing what you say you’re going to do, and this integrity helps to foster a healthy relationship with everyone.

Teamwork Across Disciplines

ARC values teamwork. We understand that an inter-professional work environment, where clinicians across disciplines work as a team rather than in silos, will correlate to better patient outcomes. Collaboration helps clinicians agree on the best possible approach to treatment and communicate better during patient handoffs.

The ARC leadership team continues to learn, study, and grow in order to facilitate a more cohesive space for our patients and staff.
