Meet Director of Onsite Services, Kristy Robinson
ARC Physical Therapy+’s Onsite Services team is led by Director Kristy Robinson. Kristy has been with the team since 2009 and joined the Onsite Services team in 2012. She is a Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS III). Through her professional career, she has extensive training in:
- ergonomics
- job analysis
- post offer employment testing
- causation analysis
- injury prevention programs
Our Team of Early Intervention Specialists
Kristy is joined by a team of dedicated early intervention specialists who are committed to providing the best care to our employer partners using a variety of techniques to address symptoms in a timely manner. Early symptom management is often all that is needed. Managing symptoms early reduces the risk of more serious injury.
Our early intervention specialists take time to meet with each employee to address their specific symptoms and concerns. In their time together, they:
- discuss ways to reduce the risk of injury
- educate the employee on alternative work techniques
- review safe lifting techniques
- give instruction on recovery stretches to be performed throughout their shift
The benefits are more than just a reduction in injuries, improved employee morale is frequently a byproduct of our interactions.
Risk and Ergonomic Hazards
In addition to early symptom management, they also work with employers to identify areas of risk and ergonomic hazards. Once identified, they have a collaborative approach to develop a plan to reduce the risk of injuries. Tools such as job analyses are also helpful to identify the physical demands required to complete the work. These reports are the foundation of a successful injury prevention and injury management program.
