What is your name?

Mindi Lozenski

What is your role at ARC Physical Therapy+?

Director at the KCK clinic.

Where are you from (born, raised, or grew up)?

Leavenworth county

Where did you go to school?

Leavenworth High, Emporia State for undergrad, and Saint Mary for PT school.

What has been your journey to leadership?

I began at ARC nine years ago as a staff PT. For the last four years, I’ve been a Lead therapist at our Shawnee clinic, and in the last few months I took on the Director role at the KCK clinic.

What skills helped you move into a leadership role?

Numerous advisors in the past, co-workers, and leadership-specific training helped make the transitions into these roles easier.

How do you help your team live up to our mission of redefining excellence in healthcare?

Continue to keep an open mind with the ever-changing conditions of the medical field.

What is your leadership philosophy?

Lead by example and work the way that you would want others around you to work. It is always a team effort and as long as we are all on the same team, we will succeed and have a healthy work environment.

What is the one thing you wish everyone knew about ARC Physical Therapy+?

We are more than just a physical therapy provider, we are a community and we want everyone to win when they come through our doors.

How do you encourage or motivate your team?

Everyone loves food and snacks 😊 At the end of the day, we are all on the same team with the same goals and that helps motivate us to keep pushing through and be there for each other.

What do you do to help your team have fun?

I’m new to this clinic but it sounds like anything with good food, music, and some drinks will get this group going!
