Our Ankeny, Iowa clinic just turned 5, it’s time to celebrate! The clinic originally opened in 1994 (under a different name) and serves Northern Polk County, South Story County, Ankeny, Bondurant, Polk City, Elkhart, Saydel, Maxwell, Collins, Baxter and Madrid.
We were founded on the premise of quality, hands-on, personalized service. It is our belief that injuries and illnesses are more easily treated if our patients are comfortable in their surroundings and confident in our professional abilities. Our team of physical therapists has over 45 years combined experience. Our objective is to provide top quality rehabilitation and compassionate therapy that focuses on you, the patient, as well as your injury.
A Few Words from Our Team
I am so proud of our Ankeny clinic and the impact they’ve had in the community. They have had a positive impact on many individual citizens, countless organizations, and many sports teams within the school districts, and they always do it with a smile and friendly attitude.
-Ben Peterson, CEO
I really enjoy the collaboration in our clinic, and within our company. We have a lot of resources at ARCPT+ – those extra steps that help a patient get back to work safely, meet the specific needs of a referral source, help coordinate a return to play decision with our sports medicine team at the two high schools we cover in Ankeny—meeting those needs are what drive me to get after it every day.
-Aaron Christiansen, Ankeny Clinic Director
I enjoy getting to know our patients and developing a friendly rapport with them. Not only does it make the day more enjoyable, but it also motivates them to work hard and get on the road to recovery.
-Matt Hauser, PTA
I like getting to know my patients and helping them get back to full function. I also appreciate the resources available to us, and the camaraderie with our team.
-Samantha Hill, PTA
I love educating patients on what is going on in their bodies and taking the time to ensure they understand what is needed of them to heal.
-Jayna Hoover, PT
I love getting to work with new individuals every day, creating new relationships, and the number of relationships and events I get to attend at Ankeny High School.
-Grant Waller, ATC and LAT
I enjoy being part of the patient’s experience and ensuring they feel comfortable and prepared for their appointment.
-Evan Jurgensmeier, Administrative Assistant I like working with the students at Centennial High School and helping them get back to playing the sports they love.
-Alyssa Wrage, ATC
Patient Testimonials
When you think of physical therapy, you think of discomfort and not necessarily a great experience, but the atmosphere and people there are awesome. Jayna knows that my progress does include pain, but from the start she has told me what to expect and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I am so thankful for the staff there for helping me working towards my successful recovery.
-Peggy Metzger Stout
I’ve been going here for the past 4 weeks or so and I actually look forward to going. This is my last week and I’m going to miss it. Physically therapy doesn’t sound like much fun but the staff here makes it fun.
-Mardelle Armstrong
The staff was very helpful and they weren’t out just to get my money. They gave me home exercises and tips that helped a lot!
-Conner McGinnis
