It’s with healthy hearts that we share ARC Physical Therapy+ was named a Healthy KC Gold Certified Company. The health and wellness program organized by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City recognizes organizations for innovation and excellence in promoting a culture of health in the workplace.
ARC Physical Therapy+ was deemed a Healthy KC Gold Certified Company based on Healthy KC’s four pillars:
- Nutrition
- Physical fitness
- Tobacco
- Mindfulness
Using those pillars, we were measured by our:

- Resources for employees
- Engagement tools
- Outcomes

Healthy KC’s Workplace Wellness action team set the group’s objective – “to build a well-designed, well-executed and sustainable certification framework to drive engagement from KC Metro area employers in workplace wellness” and its guiding principles – “that the program would be accessible to organizations of all sizes, create sustainable wellness outcomes, and include positive recognition for employers”.
