New Faces: Get to Know the Topeka Clinic

ARC Physical Therapy+ is proud to showcase the Topeka clinic team, who have recently been joined by a few new faces!

Since opening in 2008, the ARC Physical Therapy+ Topeka clinic has created a culture of fun and comfort for patients facing difficult situations. Many patients visit the Topeka clinic through workers’ compensation programs, or interact with the team through onsite services for employers, including:

  • Job analysis
  • Ergonomic assessments
  • Early intervention
  • Onsite interventions

The newest members of the Topeka team are:

Andrew HawkinsClinic Director and Physical Therapist, Andrew Hawkins, DPT, ATC

The Topeka clinic is led by Andrew Hawkins, who joined the facility in October.

Andrew was formerly with the Los Angeles Angels Minor League Baseball team as their Rehab Director. Now, Andrew brings strong leadership to the Topeka area as an educator, thought-leader and physical therapist.

In addition to his ATC (Certified Athletic Training) certification, Andrew holds an advanced Board Certification in Orthopedic Clinic Specialty, only achieved by completing an Orthopedic Residency program after his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Brock WatsonPhysical Therapist, Brock Watson, DPT

Brock’s clinic experience and interests include patient focused education, manual therapy interventions, post-operative care and dry needling.

Brock has a reputation for developing strong patient relationships and has helped many members of our community return to work, sports and activities of daily living.

Administrative Assistant, Beth Hogle

Although a trained Physical Therapist Assistant, Beth’s passion for the administration side of rehabilitation and has driven her into her new role as the Clinic Administrative Assistant.

She provides excellent customer service to our patients and referral sources and assists in managing the internal operations of the Topeka clinic including scheduling and coordinating all incoming referrals.

Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist, Jennifer Hansen, MOT, CHT

Jennifer approaches patient care with 22 years of experience, including 17 years as a Certified Hand Therapist. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics and specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of complex hand, wrist and elbow diagnoses.

Andrew, Brock, Beth and Jennifer join a team of experienced and talented professionals who are always working to raise the bar in patient care (and set patients at ease with a few jokes!).  

Dave ApplemanPhysical Therapy Assistant, Dave Appleman, PTA

Dave is a pillar in the ARCPT+ Topeka clinic with 12 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He specializes in various orthopedic therapies and manual treatments including trigger point release. He is skilled in aqua therapy and is a Certified Functional Capacity Assessment Specialist.

Jessica ShebleCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant and Onsite Services, Jessica Sheble, COTA

With expertise in both clinical care and onsite services, Jessica serves as the bridge for many area employer-partners. She is a certified Worksteps provider as well as XRTS certified for Functional Capacity Evaluations. Jessica consistently goes above and beyond to ensure patients and employers are receiving the care, communication and support they need for successful return to work programs.

Kristy Robinson, Physical Therapist Assistant/Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist at ARC Physical Therapy+Onsite Director, Kristy Robinson, PTA, CEAS

Kristy is an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant who specializes in treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries as they relate to the workplace. She has extensive training in ergonomics, job analysis, post offer employment testing, causation analysis, and injury prevention programs.

Her time in Onsite Services has allowed her to experience a variety of settings from climbing into bucket truck with lineman, scrubbing in to observe ergonomic concerns during surgery, to being on a barge on the Missouri River, and much more – making her an invaluable resource for workplace injury prevention.

Rich Kidwell 2020Regional Director, Rich Kidwell, DPT

As the Regional Director, Rich oversees the operations for 12 of the ARCPT+ clinics, including the Topeka clinic.

Rich works to ensure our clinics work collaboratively, that our high standard of care is met and that we continue to be a leading provider in rehabilitation.

Megan LeupoldAccount Manager, Megan Leupold

As a member of the Business Development team, Megan works to build and foster relationships with employer partners.

She is your go-to resource for questions on adding new services or expanding our partnership.
