Staff Spotlight: Megan Kuehne

What is your name?

Megan Kuehne

What is your role at ARC Physical Therapy+?

Administrative Assistant to all Wichita area clinics

What year did you begin working at ARC Physical Therapy+?

2019

Megan Kuehne and familyWhere are you from?

Trick question. I was born in Montana, but grew up in Papillion, Nebraska. I then attended college in Warrensburg, Missouri. I relocated from Central Missouri in 2019 and currently live in Wichita, Kansas. I grew up in a military family and married into the military.

Where did you go to school?

University of Central Missouri

Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?

I have always enjoyed customer service and the medical/science side of life. Being an administrative assistant in the physical therapy space blends those two interests well. I get my fix of medical/science while being the bright smile that greets our patients and starts their session off on the right foot.

What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?

I enjoy watching the patients work through their injuries and come out stronger in the end. The relationship that we build with patients, especially our elderly, is really heart touching.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?

The body is fascinating if you take the time to listen to it. Taking the time to stop and listen to the signals that your body is giving you can save you in the long run.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I spend my free time with my toddler and husband. My husband and I both enjoy our time in the gym as a way to get some stress release. When everyone is relaxing, I enjoy to sit down and read a good book.

Alice RoseHow do you like to celebrate a win or a good day?

I celebrate all my days with toddler giggles when I get home. Whether it is a good or bad day, my baby’s smile is always the best way to end it.

What is your favorite quote or saying?

“To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world.” – Dr. Seuss

Favorite Sports Team?

Chiefs, Royals, Blues

Sweet or salty?

Both, I love to mix sweet and salty

Coffee or tea?

Coffee

Beach or mountains?

Nature in general. If you have not gone out and just enjoyed the beauty of the world you need to.

Go out or stay in?

Both. I just simply enjoy spending time with my husband no matter what we decide to do.
