Sarah Diersen Walk DogWho or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?

I have always been interested in the medical world and science. In high school, I had soccer workouts at a PT clinic, which happened to belong to the mother of a teammate. I learned how physical therapists work with all ages, abilities and needs, and decided then that was exactly what I wanted to do!

What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?

I love the collaboration between all of the therapists and the constant value placed on continued education. I enjoy being able to see a patient who starts therapy with severe limitations get back to work and their hobbies!

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?

The body has an amazing ability to heal and therapy helps to accelerate that process. Therapy can help with so many different conditions and has been proven to be the best place for someone in pain, no matter the stage of healing.
