Our Shawnee clinic recently celebrated 6 years of providing excellence in healthcare to the local community!
At our Shawnee clinic, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our patients. We want you to feel welcome and like part of our clinic family. Many patients come back to see us and we’ve even been trusted to treat three generations of one family.
With each patient and each injury, we craft a physical therapy treatment plan that is specific to you, your needs and your abilities.

Our Team’s Favorite Memories
Mindi Lozenski, Physical Therapist
My favorite memory in the Shawnee clinic was when I had the opportunity to work with a patient for over a year doing traditional physical therapy. This patient was an EMT who loved her job and her shoulder injury was keeping her from working.
She developed frozen shoulder, and I recommended doing dry needling, rather than traditional manipulation. We discussed this with her doctor who was on board. After a couple months of doing dry needling, the patient had full range of motion (ROM) again and was able to transition into work conditioning. At this point, she was strong enough to return to work! She hadn’t been able to work for over a year and she was so happy to get back.
Working with her and being part of her success story was so rewarding. I am thankful that we were able to work with her and get her back to doing what she loves.
Diana Dickey, Physical Therapist
My favorite Shawnee memory was when we locked one of the treatment doors, and there was no key to be found… anywhere!
We had to get the ladder out, climb up to the ceiling, remove a ceiling tile and try to loop the door handle with whatever we had in the office. We tried using a TheraBand and it didn’t work, so a patient suggested trying with a stretch strap. We (ok, it was Jennifer, our PTA) looped the door handle and got the door open right away. Success! Needless to say we made sure that door was never locked again!!
I think it was Jennifer’s first week at the clinic and I was afraid she would leave and never come back. Luckily all these years later she’s still here!
