I graduated from Fremont Senior High School in 2011, Nebraska Methodist College with my Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2015 and Nebraska Methodist College with a Bachelors in Health Studies in 2016.
Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?
I got into the Physical Therapy space after having to do a speech in high school about a career I wanted to go into after high school. I knew I was in the right field after my grandfather had a stroke in 2013 when he was 86. When I would walk into his room, he would begin doing his exercises to impress me. It always made me smile.
What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?
I love the people. I always tell people how extremely lucky I am to work with such a great group of people that want to see you grow, want to see you happy and want to see you succeed. Coming to work for me is not work because I get to work with my family. I also like the variety in my schedule. Every day is different between patient’s, POET’s, work conditioning or FCE’s.
What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?
You get out of physical therapy what you put into it. And it might take more than one session for you to see the results, but if you focus on the small successes you will see the improvements in your daily life and activities.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, going to sporting events, going to concerts, reading, dancing, singing and golfing.
How do you like to celebrate a win or a good day?
I like to go to dinner with the people I love and the people who enjoy sharing in my successes.

Sweet or Salty?
Sweet. My favorite sweet treat is mint chip ice cream.

Neither. I prefer to have soda as my caffeine fix.

Mountains. I love sweaters and comfy clothing. I would much rather be cold than hot. The mountains have beautiful scenery, wildlife and give you the opportunity to participate in many outdoor activities.
Go out or stay in?
Both. I like going out with friends to go dancing or spending time together making memories with new activities, but I also enjoy staying with my dog and boyfriend to watch a movie or read a good book.
What inspires you?
My family. I have a great support system behind me. I have a family that values education, faith, hard work and love.
