Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?
My undergrad internship was at a physical therapy facility. My co-worker/clinical instructor used to work at ARC Physical Therapy and told me all about the company. The internship opened my eyes to a new and different way to help people improve their health. I had been a personal trainer prior to my internship so I was working on improving the health of my clients, but in a fitness role.
What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?
The variety of diagnoses and patient job tasks, along with my co-workers.
What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?
I am a pain specialist and enjoy educating patients on the importance of the body system and helping them understand that their pain is normal and that it is OK to seek help to reduce their pain.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Camp, spend time with my daughter and husband, play with our dogs: Shadow and Koda, and take in the all the little joys in life.
How do you like to celebrate a win or a good day?
I love to include my husband in the wins/good things in life. I enjoy dinner dates and at home movie nights in my pajamas with my family.
