What is your name?
Abbie Phillips
What is your role at ARC Physical Therapy+?
Physical Therapist Assistant
What year did you begin working at ARC Physical Therapy+?
August of 2018
Where are you from?
A small town about 35 minutes NE of Liberty called Polo. The population is three digits 😛
Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?
I am a people person and, in general, enjoy helping people see the best in themselves and feel good. I attended massage therapy school right out of high school and did that and personal training full time for several years. I enjoyed those things, but wanted to learn more and not spend quite as much time in a dark, quiet room each day and that lead me to where I am today!
What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?
Seeing people become confident in themselves and their body’s capabilities if they aren’t already, and seeing how a positive mindset and hard work does pay off.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like exploring parks, coffee shops, and places with good food and ice cream with my husband and 9 month old daughter. I also enjoy painting, drawing, and working with clay.
Coffee or tea?
Both are delicious, but coffee wins! Black, creamer, I don’t care.
Go out or stay in?
My friends often joke that my maybe means no, so probably stay in! 😛
