Nicole with Family (2)Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?

I knew I didn’t want a desk job and was an athlete my entire life. Physical therapy ended up being the perfect fit for my interests and passions!

What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?

I have been with ARCPT+ for a long time and despite all the changes, or the ups and downs, I am confident we have amazing staff, all of whom want to help people get better. Everyone is genuinely happy to help no matter what the situation is!

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?

I wish everyone knew that our goal is not to hurt you and the adage of “no pain, no gain” is not our motto.  Soreness maybe, but it doesn’t sound as good 😊 Also, there are a lot of things physical therapy can help you with but you have to put in the energy to get the results.

Are you involved with any outside organizations? If so, what?

I spend a lot of my time outside of work volunteering at my children’s school.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I like to do photography, crafting, cooking and baking, spending time with my children or cheering on their sports teams or local KC teams.

What is your favorite quote or saying?

“Sometimes it only takes one act of kindness or caring to change a person’s life.”

Sweet or salty?

I definitely have a sweet tooth!

Beach or mountains?

Beach, I will choose warm sunny beaches every day!

Go out or stay in?

I like both but since we always seem to be on the go I would pick stay in.
