What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?

As the AR (Accounts Receivable) Lead, I get to share what knowledge I’ve accrued about insurance payors, billing and technology involving this part of the field. Our AR team is staffed with phenomenal people who are passionate about their work. I love working with this team to provide great customer service to our patients by ensuring their accounts are billed and collected on efficiently.

I am extremely proud and thankful to work at ARC. As an employee of ARC, I feel appreciated, seen and significant. ARC puts a considerable amount of effort in ensuring their employees know how much they contribute to the success of their business and how much it is appreciated. Being a “smaller” company, each employee is seen as an individual and praised for the skills they contribute.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love crafting, getting ideas from Pinterest, local festivals or town fairs. I actually enjoy working around the house, being out in the yard, doing DIY projects, and organizing everything we’ve managed to accumulate. I also thoroughly enjoy watching my son play all his sports. I’m his biggest fan and it’s my life goal to shower him with support, embarrassing or not!

Today…I choose to be happy.

Throw kindness around like confetti.

Your vibe attracts your tribe.

Favorite sports team?

Royals – My husband and I met playing softball the year that the Royals won the World Series. He proposed to me at a Royals game, and we had Royals incorporated into our wedding. So they hold a special place in my heart.

Sweet or salty?

Sweet – Pretty sure when I end up with one tooth, it will be my sweet tooth.

Coffee or tea?

Creamer with a splash of coffee and sweet tea

What do you think of garden gnomes?

They are short like me. Fun sized men who are always up to some kind of shenanigan.

A penguin walks through that door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here?

For some reason, I envision a Mr. T Penguin holding a taco…who says “I pitty da foo…who don’t like tacos”. And in comes the mariachi band with a platter of tacos and a margarita machine. Full on fiesta!

What inspires you?

Being a “good” person. I want to judge less, be open minded, surprise people with kindness and refrain from getting caught up on my own obstacles in life.
