Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?

I have a desire to help others.  My uncle was a quadriplegic and I saw firsthand what therapy was able to do to improve his quality of life.

What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?

The integrity. I have worked here since 2007 and that core value has not waivered one bit- which I think is impressive with the constantly changing landscape of healthcare. It may sound cliché, but it’s also the people who I work with. We truly strive each day to be a catalyst of change in healthcare.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?

Not all therapy and/or therapists are created equal.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Travel and explore new places!  Also I cherish the time I spend with my family, friends and little friends 🙂

What is your favorite quote or saying?

“No matter what your problems are, someone’s is always worse.”

And, “it depends” as I am sure anyone who has worked with me has heard me say a time or two.

Favorite sports team?

The Chiefs, the Chiefs, the Kanza City Chiefs!!!

Sweet or salty?

Both! Tonya with Family Friends 2

Coffee or tea?

Iced Tea. Brewed!  No fountain or bottled tea. Unsweet. I’m sweet enough!

Beach or mountains?

Beach & Mountains 🙂

Go out or stay in?

It depends. See previous question about favorite saying.
