Where are you from?
Hampton, Iowa. I lived in Iowa most of my life, but moved to Chicago for 4 years before locating to Kansas City, my home since 2007.
Where did you go to school?
PT School: University of Iowa
Undergraduate: Central College in Pella, Iowa
Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?
Participating in and being involved in athletics. That led me to the Student Athletic Trainer Program at Central College which introduced me to the rehab side of injuries while working with college sports teams.
What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?
The culture we create and the high level of learning we expect and provide.
What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?
How skilled the profession of Physical Therapy is compared to just finding information on the Internet or from a friend with a similar injury. It is important to correct muscle imbalances and injuries immediately to prevent cataclysmic events that could follow by not properly treating injuries as they happen.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Enjoy my 2 children, bike, be active, explore foreign lands, attend sporting events and as many concerts as possible.
How do you like to celebrate a win or a good day?
Singing loud and proud. Hopefully sharing the win with positive energy to others so maybe they too will be energized.
