What is your name?
Madelynn Suzanne Sayers
What is your role at ARC Physical Therapy+?
Administrative Assistant
I also do the Corporate Accounts invoicing and follow up, and I clean the clinic on the weekends.
What year did you begin working at ARC Physical Therapy+?
The first time I worked with ARC Physical Therapy+ was Dec. 2012-Dec. 2015. I rejoined the ARC Team in July 2018 and have been in the North Kansas City Clinic since.
Where are you from?
Originally from Fort Bragg, North Carolina. My family has been in the KCMO area since 2003.
Where did you go to school?
I went to Lansing High School in Lansing, Kansas until the middle of my junior year then transferred to Park Hill High School in KCMO. I graduated from Park Hill in Dec. 2004. I went to college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, with a minor in Allied Health Career Administration, in 2009.
Who or what inspired you to get into the physical therapy space?
My dad is a retired Army Airborne Ranger and has a lot of orthopedic issues from excessive/extreme use of his body for so many years. I’ve seen how treatments and therapy has changed his quality of life and I like that, in a small way, I can be involved in making ARC’s patients feel better.
What do you like most about your work at ARC Physical Therapy+?
I really enjoy providing customer service. I try to accommodate our patients and referral sources as best I can and try to go above and beyond to help show how ARC is different from other therapy providers. I like how many of the small things I do can make a big impact on someone’s experience.
What is one thing you wish everyone knew about the body or physical therapy?
Motion is the lotion.
Are you involved with any outside organizations? If so, what?
I used to volunteer at the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter and help walk the dogs. That’s where I met/found my Ava Mae (my rescued pup). Currently, I like to stay involved with my church family by attending weekend services and smalls groups. They have tons of opportunities to serve at Vineyard Church.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Read, spend time with my family, we like to play games and cards. Take Ava Mae for walks, see live music-LOVE going to concerts- and go to the occasional movie.
How do you like to celebrate a win or a good day?
Pumpin up the jams on my way home.

What is your favorite quote or saying?
“Nobody ever had a rainbow baby, until he had the rain.”
Jim Croce-Tomorrow’s Gonna Be A Brighter Day
Favorite Sports Team?
I was raised to be a Green Bay Packer fan but am also a Chiefs fan, until they play the Packers.
Sweet or salty?
Sweet, my sister calls me an ice cream monster.
Coffee or tea?
TEA-almost any kind.
Beach or mountains?
Mountains, I feel like they really show you the magnificence of God.

Go out or stay in?
I used to be a going out girl, now I like to stay in and go out on occasion.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I have lost count of the number of tattoos I have. The majority of them don’t have any real significant meaning, just things I like or liked when I was young. And I will continue to get them, I plan on covering 80% of my body. I met my tattoo artist through Liz Boyd, another ARCPT+ Staff Member; she went to high school with him. And I’m uber pleased to have found him, I probably wouldn’t have so many tattoos if it weren’t for him, he’s super talented!
