What got you interested in being an Occupational Therapist in the first place?
In high school I was interested in nursing, teaching and art. Occupational Therapy seemed to be a profession that combined all three of these.

Why do you love being an Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist?
I enjoy collaborating with my patients and developing a plan to help them regain their abilities. I love it when a patient comes in and tells me that they are able to do something that they find rewarding. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

What is a fun fact about you?
I love to travel.

What makes you unique as an Occupational Therapist?
You’ll have to ask my co-workers about that.

What is something you wish people knew about Occupational Therapy or Certified Hand Therapy?
That there is a strong connection between the mind and the body, and that we treat both.
