A New Vision for Patients and Partners in 2019

Now that you’ve met our new leadership team, we’re excited to announce our plans and priorities for 2019 and beyond. Our number one goal is to enhance the patient and partner experience, and all of these initiatives will help us to improve as a company and to provide better service to our clients. Let’s take a look!

Reinvestment in Education

Our future as a company depends on the next generation of clinicians who join our team, so we are enhancing our efforts to train and recruit exceptional employees. We’re also focused on cultivating our younger staff while helping seasoned staff continue growing and deliver outstanding outcomes to patients. Our recent leadership team changes will provide support to enhance the delivery of the ARC Physical Therapy+ methodology in new clinics opening and help us to expand on our foundational elements and practices that have been in place for the last 15 years.

ARC Physical Therapy+ is dedicated to empowering our employees to pursue excellence in the field with quality continuing education opportunities. We are invested in hosting several continuing education opportunities during 2019 which will not only be open to our staff, but also to select doctors, providers and local partners in the pain community.

Programs will include:

  • McKenzie Part A (The Lumbar Spine)
  • Therapeutic Neuroscience Education: Teaching People About Pain
  • The Gray Institute: Certification in Applied Functional Science
  • McKenzie Part D (Advanced Cervical & Thoracic Spine and Extremities – Upper Limb)

We have developed multifaceted fellowship programs for advanced training of our clinicians, including our Certified Hand Therapy fellowship program for occupational therapists. The program enhances knowledge and critical decision making by examining current literature and evidence, as well as developing relationships with surgeons in clinic and the operating room. We are also offering a fellowship program focused on vestibular therapy for our physical therapists.

Expansion of Service Lines

We are constantly evaluating where we can build upon existing services and build new areas of specialty, and we are proud to announce that we are expanding our services to support areas of need we identified in the community.

Our clinic in Lenexa, Kansas focuses on Vestibular Rehabilitation, Neurological/Balance Rehabilitation and Concussion Management, as well as providing traditional physical therapy services.

We are also pleased to announce our innovative new Cancer Rehab Center of Excellence, providing a specialized area of physical therapy that promotes physical function and quality of life during and following cancer treatment.

Importance of Data and Our Value Proposition

Since the earliest days at ARC Physical Therapy+, transparency and accountability have been critical tenets of our company. As healthcare continues to change, more focus is placed on outcomes achieved by providers, and it’s necessary for us to become even more transparent in the solutions we’re creating for clients.

Through strategic partnerships and investment in our own data tracking mechanisms, we are striving to enhance the information we can deliver to employers, physicians, insurers and third-party administrators. We see the results in the clinic each and every day, but by improving how we collect and share this information, we can better show the value we create for money spent on care.

Improving Customer Service and Customer Experience

We’re heightening our focus on customer service and the customer experience at ARC Physical Therapy+, working closely with our team to provide meaningful training opportunities and evaluate feedback from referral sources and patients.

The healthcare landscape is rapidly evolving, and as people are taking on more responsibility for their healthcare expenses, we want to ensure that their experience delivers the level of quality and value they expect and deserve.

To improve customer service, we’re partnering with patients to reach optimal outcomes and focusing on a shared-decision making model. By interacting with patients at every step of the process, we ensure that we’re all on the same page and are creating opportunities for constant feedback throughout the patient journey.

Commitment to Community

Our gratitude for what we have achieved comes full circle as we appreciate and give back to our community. Our employees go above and beyond to serve our clients every day, but we also want to provide opportunities to connect with the community as a whole through volunteering for charitable organizations. In 2019, we’re renewing our commitment to the #ARCPTcares program, which supports a variety of worthwhile initiatives that make a difference in our community, and we are excited to see the impact we can generate.

With 2019 solidly underway, our efforts on each of these initiatives have already moved forward with energy and excitement and we can’t wait to share our progress with you.
